Interesting article. I am doing some research on for personal reasons on how to read books better and this article has some interesting ideas in it.
I saw mind maps sometimes mentioned as good, low cost way to play with information, activate both hemispheres of your brain, and organise what you are learning.
But here with your flow charts you go further. You propose to make those mind maps in to kinds of a decision tree.
It starts with trigger to when this information is useful, and leads you trough relevant information and possible decisions to solutions.
What comes to mind is that then when you came, went trough, refreshed knowledge, applied solution, got results. You can go backtrack and fix/improve/optimise it.
Kinda like artificial neural networks use error back propagation algorithm to learn.
What do you think?
