I honestly hope that opinions different from yours are present in discussions of regulation. Not that yours are wrong but they are one sided.

I for one am happy that OpenAI moves in direction of lowering self censorship with things like NSFW.

AI is a tool. Like a car. It should not decide for the user what user is allowed or not allowed to do. That's dystopian.

I am rather for "driver license for AI" type of situation where human is liable and accountable for what he asked AI to do.

Also, do you think that comparing AI software products to medicine is correct? Feels very wrong to me...

Medicine can't be changed when released, its effect on our bodies can't be easily changed after we took the drug. So level of scrutiny and regulation on this is way bigger.

Software? Does not effect us in such irreversable way. Can be updated globally with a button press. It still has after effects but still, way less risky.

That comparison just screamed at me "compares apple to oranges, no bananas to chicken wings".
