In theory you can test ideas there without investing too much. If ideas work you can try make your own not in ChatGPT and divert users from ChatGPT versions to yours.

Also, at least at the moment ChatGPT bots have a lot of limitations. Even with Actions.

You can do more trough API. So there is value in going out of ChatGPT.

But there is also value in having a presence there. Just don't put too much in.
